If they had this cake at our sexual harassment meeting, it would have made the horrible films they showed a little better.

"Yes, I'd like a slice of the fetus' forehead, please?"

"Um...I'll take a slice of fetus face, please."

The anti-wedding cake.

Little Derrick also got hookers on his special day. Then he shot them and stole their money.

Customizable things are my new favorite. It probably stems from the constant disappointment of never being able to find any personalized pencil kits with my name on them when I was a kid. Keds now lets you design your own shoes with images you can upload and using their colors and patterns. They start at $60, but you can save the image of shoes you make without buying them. Like I did. I’d like to see your design! Make them HERE and then post your creation! I made these:

White Whine August 16, 2008

My new favorite website (or feed, via Google Reader, for my with-it tech peeps) is White Wine, which posts a new white person complaint for every day of the week. As if we needed any, but these are HILARIOUS and real. Apparently you just e-mail your over- privileged, arrogant and ironic bitching to the webmaster, et voila! Another WASP bytes the dust. Among my favorites are:

“I wish this JetBlue pilot would stop talking. I’m trying to watch Anthony Bourdain.”

“God I hate washing the salad spinner.”

“Do I have to hit every single red light on the way to the crepe place?”

Creepy Criminal Records Search August 16, 2008

The New York Times covers CriminalSearches.com, the controversial online searchable database of criminal records that have privacy advocates (and people with speeding tickets on their record) completely freaked out. You might want to check and see if you can find yourself on it, or your creepy gardener who keeps peeking into your bathroom window in the morning…just sayin’.

I literally cannot remember the last time I sent a regular paper-letter in the regular mail service with an actual stamp on it, but now I have a reason to! Actually, I will probably just end up framing them and showcasing their beauty in my office. Thanks to Meredith for this starred object via Google Reader!

Class of 1978

Class of 1978

I avoided yearbook photos like the Black (African-American) Plague due to being especially non-photogenic. Now, yearbookyourself.com gives you the opportunity to pick any picture of yourself to upload and see what your yearbook photo would look like if you were in high school from the 1950’s up until 2000! I’ve always wanted an afro…now I have finally gotten my wish.
